Feature :: Framed Evening Clutch for Sew Now
Have you checked out the new sewing magazine, Sew Now? It’s a new title from Practical Publishing focusing on fashion led projects.
I’m so pleased so say that Issue 2 features my first project for Sew Now. I have made an evening clutch that uses a slide in metal frame.
It’s the perfect bag for a night out. It’s big enough for your mobile phone, lippy and some cash. There’s even instructions for a little slip pocket to keep your card.
The fabric I used was from Adam Ross, they make gorgeous premium dressmaking fabrics. I used their Jade Lustre Fine Line Fabric which has a lovely texture and sheen to it.
They also sell it in a rather lovely Indigo and a similar looking fabric in Gold
If I had more time on my hands (and more places to go of an evening) I would be making a load of these bags, those colours are just so lovely!
If you can’t find a copy of Sew Now in a local store yet then have a look at the More Mags website
