They are wonderful for sewing room organisation or taking projects with you when you are on the go.

You could even make them as gifts for crafty friends or sewing group swaps.

This new pattern includes instructions for making 6 different sizes.

You will get instructions for all of these great sizes:

  • 8.5″ x 4.5″ – Mini
  • 10.5″ x 6.5″ – Extra Small
  • 12.5″ x 9.5″ – Small
  • 14.5″ x 11.5″ – Medium
  • 16.5″ x 13.5″ – Large
  • 18.5″ x 15.5″ – Extra Large

Each of the 6 different sizes can be made in 2 different styles.

You can make a Vinyl Front Project Bag with a Plain Front (choose some fabulous fabric) or you can make one with a Feature Block.

You can decide to make a Feature Block specifically for your Project Bag or you may have an orphan quilt block in your stash, just waiting to be used!

For this Small (12.5″ x 9.5″) Project Bag I have made a feature out of my Heart to Heart 6″ quilt block pattern. When making the Small Project Bag you can make a feature out of any 6″ block, but if you’d like to make the Heart to Heart block, you can buy a copy of the pdf from the shop.

Each of the different sizes of Project Bag can make a feature out of a different size of quilt block (orphan or otherwise).

For example the Mini Project Bag can make a feature out of tiny 2″ block, whereas the Extra Large Project Bag can feature a 12″ block
