Boy Elf : FPP Quilt Block

The Boy Elf FPP quilt block pdf pattern includes two finished block sizes: 6″ and 10″.

The pdf INSTRUCTIONS feature:

:: Coloured illustration of the block
:: Blank diagram and key for colouring and/or planning fabric placement
:: Guidance on printing the pattern pieces the correct size
:: illustrations to help with joining the sections

The PATTERN PIECES feature:

:: Digitally drawn pattern pieces
:: 1/4″ seam allowances on all sections
:: Reversed so you create a block that looks exactly as the illustration
:: Coloured and labelled to make construction as easy as possible
:: Laid out to print on A4 or US Letter paper

DIFFICULTY

The Boy Elf fpp quilt block pdf pattern is for people that are familiar with Foundation Paper Piecing. This pattern features the same block in two different sizes. There are some smaller pieces so you may find an ‘add an eighth’ ruler useful to reduce the bulk of the seam allowances.

There are 10 places where it is preferable to have the seams matching. These are highlighted in the instructions on page 4.
