Christmas Stocking : FPP Quilt Block

The Christmas Stocking Foundation Paper Piecing pattern features two different style options, Plain or Patterned, each with a Left and Right version. There are two different Christmas Tree styles for you to use on your Patterned Christmas Stocking.

The pdf INSTRUCTIONS feature:

:: Coloured illustration of each of the blocks
:: Blank diagrams for colouring/planning fabric placement
:: Diagrams for joining the FPP sections, including where it’s important to match seams
:: Guidance on printing the pattern pieces the correct size

The PATTERN PIECES feature:

:: Digitally drawn pattern pieces
:: 1/4″ seam allowances on all sections
:: Reversed so you create a block that looks exactly as the illustration
:: Coloured and labelled to make construction as easy as possible
:: Laid out to print on A4 or Letter paper

DIFFICULTY

This pattern has a couple of smaller sections around the toe section and the Fancy Tree is a little more challenging. An add an eighth ruler will allow you to reduce bulk.

HOW TO ADD PERSONALISATION

This pattern has been designed so that it works in conjunction with the Mini FPP Alphabet PDF pattern. If you have a copy of this pattern it means that you can create all whole array of personalised little Christmas Stockings. See the listing pictures for an example of the Christmas Stocking with the letter E. In the Mini FPP Alphabet PDF pattern there are also a few additional characters, including a Star and a Heart, both of which would look great on a little stocking!
