The Facets of the Heart FPP pattern makes a beautiful, slightly rounded heart. Make it up in a whole rainbow of colours or make one up in one solid colour to make a bold statement. You could even try out several tones of the same colour.
Just imagine how stunning it would look as a wall hanging or incorporated into a quilt. It would also look great on a cushion or pillow cover.

The Facets of the Heart Foundation Paper Piecing pattern now includes 5 different block sizes, perfect for adding to any number of projects. Sizes include: 10″, 8″, 6″, 4″ and 2″.
All of the sections have been reversed so that you can plan your colour placements with ease. All of the section pattern pieces are clearly marked and include a 1/4″ seam allowance around the outside edges.
Do make sure that you print Actual Size in order to create a block in the size you intend! Have a read of my blog post on How to Assemble pdf Sewing Patterns for tips on getting it right first time.
This pattern assumes that you already know how to paper piece so there are no technique tips included with the instructions, however there are some links to some of my tutorials.
With this pattern (as with all FPP patterns) accuracy is key. There are a few places where it’s good to get the seams matching, but other than that it’s relatively straightforward. However, the smaller block sizes are definitely more challenging and an ‘add an eighth’ ruler will be really useful.
The pdf is a total of 12 pages, of which the pattern pieces make up 7 pages. Pattern pieces have been laid out so that they print out on A4 or US letter paper (remember to print actual size!)
