Fancy Easter Egg : FPP Quilt Block

This foundation paper piecing pdf pattern makes a really Fancy Easter Egg. With stripes and a zig-zag pattern it’s an egg like the kind you wish they still sold in the stores!

This FPP pattern makes an 8″ block. You will need to print your pattern Actual Size, have a read of my blog post on How to Assemble pdf Sewing Patterns for tips on getting it right first time.

This pattern assumes that you already know how to paper piece so there are no technique tips included with the instructions. There are however clear diagrams and instructions on how to assemble your block. There is also a colouring diagram so that you can plan your fabric placement. All of the pattern pieces have been digitally drawn for accuracy.

There are a few small pieces here and there so I would recommend this pattern to people with intermediate paper piecing skills. There are also a few places where it’s good to get the seams matching, but other than that it’s relatively straightforward.

All of the section pattern pieces are clearly marked and include a 1/4″ seam allowance around the outside edges.

The pdf is a total of 6 pages, of which the pattern pieces make up 2 pages.
