Half Rectangle Triangle (HRT) FPP Templates

These Half Rectangle Triangle FPP templates allow you to make HRT units that are based on a 1:2 ratio (i.e. they are twice as high as they are wide). There are 8 different sizes ranging from the small 1″ x 2″ up to a larger 4.5″ x 9″.

Half Rectangle Triangle quilt block units are a great quilt block that you don’t see too often but using them gives you the opportunity to add some movement into your patchwork and quilting projects. They are great repeated several times over or even combined with other elements to create some great quilt block designs.

Half Rectangle Triangle quilt block units have the seam line in one of two directions:

• Top Left to Bottom Right
• Top Right to Bottom Left

Templates for both versions are included with your purchase.

Each size of Half Rectangle Triangle FPP templates has been laid out on a different page so you can print only the page(s) that you need. To save you from wasting paper, the smaller sizes have multiple copies per page.

The instructions include really useful guidance on printing out your FPP templates the right size.

The template pages have been laid out so that you can print on either A4 or US Letter paper.
