The Kingfisher bird is so beautiful and their colours can be just so stunning. Just imagine how lovely this fellow will look as a wall hanging or incorporated into a quilt. It would also look great on a cushion/pillow cover.
This Kingfisher Foundation Paper Piecing pattern makes a 10″ block. Make sure that you print Actual Size in order to create a block in this size.
This pattern assumes that you already know how to paper piece so there are no technique tips included with the instructions.
There are a few small pieces so I would recommend this pattern to people with intermediate or advance paper piecing skills.
All of the sections have been reversed so that you will make a Kingfisher that faces to the right. All of the section pattern pieces are clearly marked and include a 1/4″ seam allowance around the outside edges.
The pdf is a total of 8 pages, of which the pattern pieces make up 4 pages.
