Nifty Needlebook

The Nifty Needlebook is a versatile small project. There are four front cover options to choose from and two (optional) pocket styles). It is a great make for not only yourself, but is also great for making as a gift!

There are three FPP front cover options and one EPP front cover option. Your finished Nifty Needlebook will measure approximately 4.5″ x 4″

:: pdf Nifty Needlebook pattern instructions (15 pages)
:: Pattern Pieces (1 page). Page has been designed so that it can be printed on A4 or Letter paper. If you are new to downloadable pdf patterns then have a look at the blog post How to Assemble pdf Sewing Patterns. You will need to print the pattern page actual size to get accurate results.

DIFFICULTY

The FPP sections on the pattern are more challenging as the pieces are quite small. You are however given cut sizes for the FPP pieces to make it as easy as possible. There is also an EPP front cover options which is a great option if you like hand stitching.

This pattern assumes that you already know how to paper piece so there are no FPP technique tips included with the instructions. If you need help with FPP then you may like to consider enrolling on the Nifty Needlebook On Demand Class as it features full length demonstrations as to how to sew the FPP sections.

BONUS

The Nifty Needlebook pattern has been designed so that it is compatible with the Spools of Thread pattern. This means that you can create a sewing themed version of your needlebook. In turn, you can also combine the Spool with the Mini FPP Alphabet….this means that you can add an initial to the centre of your spool or use the star or heart. Whatever you choose you’ll me making something really rather special.
