Sawtooth Star with Heart : FPP Quilt Block

The Sawtooth Star with Heart FPP quilt block pdf pattern includes six finished block sizes: 2″, 4″, 6″, 8″, 10″ and 12″.

DIFFICULTY

This Sawtooth Star with Heart FPP quilt block pattern is for people that are familiar with Foundation Paper Piecing. This pattern features the same block in six different sizes. The larger versions are of course easier than the smaller ones. You may benefit from the use of an ‘add an eighth’ ruler if making the 2″ or 4″ block sizes. It will help to reduce the bulk of the seam allowances for this smaller size of block.

There are 5 seams to match when joining sections. These points are highlighted on page 4 of the instructions.
