Sawtooth Star with Pinwheel: FPP Quilt Block

DIFFICULTY

This Pinwheel Sawtooth Star FPP quilt block pattern is for those that are familiar with Foundation Paper Piecing. This downloadable pattern features the same block in six different sizes. The larger versions are easier than the smaller ones, purely down to their size. You will greatly benefit from the use of an ‘add an eighth’ ruler if making the 2″ or 4″ block sizes as it will help to reduce the bulk of the seam allowances.

There are 9 seams to match when joining sections. These points are highlighted on page 4 of the instructions.
