Simple FPP Heart : FPP Quilt Block

The Simple FPP Heart block pattern includes 5 different block sizes, just great for adding to any number of projects. Sizes include: 10″, 8″, 6″, 4″ and 2″.

:: Pattern Pieces in two versions:

• Tiled FPP pattern pieces (6 pages). Pages are designed in a way that allows them to be printed on either A4 or Letter paper. Some pages will need to be joined together to complete a couple of the larger pattern pieces. See instructions for details.
• Large Format pattern pieces on A2 paper (16.5″x 23.4″), great if you prefer to have your patterns printed by a copy shop or have a super large format printer at home.

DIFFICULTY

This is a great project block for beginners and more advanced paper piercers alike. For the beginner there aren’t too many small pieces and only two sections to join and for the more advanced you can challenge yourself with some tiny piecing or just enjoy ta quick and satisfying make.

This pattern assumes that you already know how to paper piece so there are no FPP technique tips included with the instructions HOWEVER, I have filmed a demonstration video of me making the 2″ version. You can see in real time how to make the block and you’ll pick up lots of tips and techniques!
