ON DEMAND CLASS
As a bolt-on to the pdf pattern, you are able to enrol onto the Snowman On Demand Class where you can see a full demonstration of me making the 10″ Snowman block. Select the On Demand Class option from the drop down box above to be automatically enrolled onto the class and to receive a copy of the pdf pattern (see class materials once enrolled).
You can read more about the Snowman On Demand Class on the class page
This pattern features the same block in two different sizes. I would recommend for a beginner to start with the 10″ version of the block as the pieces are larger in size. There are a couple of smaller pieces (particularly when it comes to the 6″ block) and there are a few seams to match when joining sections (refer to green circles on page 4), but if you take your time, it is achievable.
This pattern assumes that you already know how to paper piece so there are no FPP technique tips included with the instructions, but if you are unsure, then the On Demand Class will be just what you are looking for!
Have a look at the Gallery of Makes to see how some other people have made their Snowman Blocks. Message me if you would like yours included!
