The Valentine’s Day Pocket Mug rug is a fabulous project, perfect for adding a little cheer to your tea break!
Perfect to make as a gift or maybe as an item for a quilt group swap.
The slip pocket is perfect for a little packet of biscuits or even something essential like a small pair of sewing scissors.
The Heat block measures 6″ square and can be combined with any of my other Heart and Valentine’s Day themed blocks in your next project.

The Valentine’s Day Pocket Mug Rug is primarily made using Foundation Paper Piecing skills. It features a bound slip pocket on the left hand side.
Finished project measures approximately 9.5″ wide x 6.5″ high.
The main Heart block measures 6″ square and can be used in other patchwork and quilting projects.

DIFFICULTY
This pattern is for people that are familiar with Foundation Paper Piecing. There are some smaller pieces around the flower where an ‘add an eighth‘ ruler would be most beneficial. There are two places on the heart where you need to match seams.
