Spring Butterfly Pocket Mug Rug
The Spring Butterfly Pocket Mug Rug is a wonderful project for adding a little brightness to your tea or coffee break. There’s plenty of room for a cuppa and there is a slip pocket for keeping something essential or maybe a little (wrapped) treat!
This Mug Rug is also a great project to give to someone special. You could even make it as a swap gift at your local sewing group. I am sure it will be well received!
The Mug Rug is made using Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) skills. The butterfly block on the right hand side is a 6″ quilt block, which you can of course use in other patchwork and quilting projects in the future.
