This is where the solid lines on the templates come in…they show you exactly where you need to sew. This means you don’t have to spend time worrying about setting up and sewing with an accurate 1/4″ seam allowance.
One of the other great advantages of FPP is that there’s also no need to cut 100% precise rectangles to sew with. You can be a little more ‘rough’ with your measurements or you could even cut freehand rectangles (possibly only an option for the more confident or experienced). You will save so much time!
