NEW :: Point on Point Quilt pdf pattern

I am so pleased to share with you my latest pattern release, the Point on Point Quilt.

It’s a modern and simple design that comes together really quickly in a satisfying kind of way! It’s a pattern that is a geometric, modern take on an art deco fan design.

The pattern is really versatile as it includes instructions for making the quilt in FOUR different sizes starting with a Wall Quilt (20” x 20”) up to a generous Single Quilt (69” x 89”).

Your purchase of the Point on Point quilt pattern includes two files. The first file is the main set of instructions which feature:

• Fabric requirements (see product listing in the shop for details)
• Colouring diagram
• Detailed fabric cutting instructions
• Step by step illustrated instructions for construction

In terms of difficulty I would recommend this pattern for confident beginners (but maybe not your first quilt). The cutting is mostly straightforward (other than a few squares at 7 7/8”) and there some bias edges to contend with. You will need to be confident with sewing an accurate ¼” seam. The FREE Bonus Supplement takes you through four different variations to the main pattern. Some of them are nice and simple, great for a less experienced quilter and some of them allow you really play with the Point on Point pattern to come up wth something truly unique to you. Each variation has any number of layout options so I’m fairly sure no two quilts will be the same!

A quick note about sewing an accurate 1/4″ seam.

As with most forms of patchwork, using an accurate 1/4″ seam ensures that you get the best results possible. It’s no different with the Point on Point quilt pattern.
