Flying Bumble Bee FPP Quilt Block
The Flying Bumble Bee FPP Quilt Block pdf pattern is great for Spring, Garden, or even Farm themed patchwork and quilting projects. The joyful design is bound to bring a little happiness to your project.
As with most of my Foundation Paper Piecing quilt block patterns, there are two block sizes included with the pattern. There is the smaller 6″ block and a larger 10″ finished block. Both are great for any number of patchwork and quilting projects.
There are three placed where you might want to match the seams. One each side of the body where it meets the wings and the other where the antennae join the top of the head. On page 4 of the instructions, there is a useful diagram where these placed have been circled in green to help you identify them.

Flying Bumble Bee : FPP Quilt Block
£3.50It’s always a happy sight when you see a big fat bumblebee buzzing happily from flower to flower, spreading a little joy in its fuzzy, busy way whilst
pollinating our gardens!Use this Flying Bumble Bee FPP quilt block on it’s own or combine with some of my other blocks to create a beautiful project!
Well, when it comes to bees, then really there’s not a lot of colour variation out there! There is absolutely nothing to stop you making your bee in something other than black and yellow, but I decided stick with the classic colours. Whilst that may not sound terribly adventurous, then of course you can go to town with the background colour!
Looking for a change of direction?
All of my pictures show the Bee flying to the left, but you want your Bee to fly to the right?
No problem, all you have to do is rotate your finished block 180 degrees!
