Valentine’s Day Mug Rug
The Valentine’s Day Mug Rug is a wonderful patchwork project that is sure to bring a little love and joy to your tea break! This little Mug Rug has a little slip pocket that is ideal for slipping in something essential like a pair of glasses or a pair of sewing scissors, you could even slide in a little treat (I’d suggest the wrapped variety though!).
The three blocks are pieced using the Foundation Paper Piecing technique and you see that large heart block on the right hand side of the Mug Rug? Well, that heart measures 6″ finished and will work fabulously in so many other patchwork projects. It really is a versatile block!

As soon as you have checked out your order, you’ll be sent an email with a link to download your files. There will be two different files. The first file has the step by step instructions and the second file has the pattern pieces. So if you prefer, you can just print out just the pattern pages….saving both paper and ink!

The pattern pieces are sent to you in a second file. This means that if you prefer, you can red the instructions via a tablet or computer and just print out the pattern pages. The pattern pieces have the following features:
